DigitalMind at ESL Extreme Masters: The Netherlands

By vgas on October 30th, 2007 at 16:03

After our bad performance at KODE5 The Netherlands, we desperately need to restore our honour and integrity. We didn't play anywhere close to our capabilities, our potential. We are very ashamed and hope our continuous efforts will pay off in the long run, to improve our game and team chemistry.

A clash of Kings; Logic, CyberNetsOnline and DigitalMind will fight each other the next three days, the one who scores the most points is King of the Hill and becomes the Dutch representative in the international qualification of the ESL Extreme Masters season II. Logic's tremendous run at KODE5, CyberNetsOnline who wants to take vengeance and DigitalMind eager to show their true capabilities, after their sloppy on-field performance. Do we need more ingredients for an epic clash between three rivals? Click Read More.

DigitalMind at KODE5 The Netherlands

By vgas on October 27th, 2007 at 17:31

DigitalMind is happy to announce their presence at KODE5 The Netherlands, organized by Wsquared Media. After the participation at the Electronic Sport World Cup (ESWC) 2007, our team underwent structural changes, mainly due to poor results caused by several classified incidents. We explored the market with our team captain, Roy "r0y" Gerritsen (22) and decided to build up a new team with ex-Defusekids players and free agent, Nordien "minto" De Jong (20).

KODE5 is our first tournament after being absent for nearly three months. Our team is very motivated to show the crowd that they're the finest players on and off the field. Where there's a will, there's a way and therefore DigitalMind will try to reclaim their status as Benelux's best on this international tournament. It wont be easy with CyberNetsOnline and Logic attending, two teams with a lot of potential. And the attendance of the Swedish SK GAMING, mousesports and ALTERNATE aTTax from Germany and the Finnish CMAX.gg makes this tournament worth the try. DigitalMind is ready for the new season

By vgas on August 27th, 2007 at 22:00

Enthusiasm and passion are vital parts of DigitalMind. After the 2007 Electronic Sports World Cup, our organization was briefly informed by Tom Nijenhuis (19) and Dennis van Maurik (20) that they had decided to quit competitive Counter-Strike, in order to focus on real life commitments. It would be a lie if we told you that it came as a shock, the passion and enthusiasm floated away since a couple of months but we are grateful for their efforts and commitment while representing our organization.

We examined different solutions to be prepared for the second half of 2007 after the retirement of our dear friends. It wasn’t a decision we took lightly as we had had great experiences with this team. It brought joy to all of us and we’ll always look back to this period with a smile.

As an organization, we have to be continuously improving. Therefore, we needed to find a suitable solution to raise the bar of competitive gaming in the Netherlands. Read more to discover the new team.
